Diwali Celebration

The festival of lights , victory of good over evil-Diwali was celebrated in its true spirit by the students and faculty of St. Soldier when they visited an orphanage ‘Gur Asra Trust’ and distributed sweets, clothing and happiness in order to illuminate the lives of the inmates. The students and the teachers spent valuable moments with them which will be cherished throughout their lives. It was a noble gesture to think about the lesser children of the Almighty and bring joy and brightness in their otherwise dismal world. This spirit of Diwali should be kindled in each and every human heart and carried on till eternity. The students of Class X along with their teachers Ms.Jagmeet Kaur and Ms.Nidhi Jain donated a handsome amount .
