St Soldier School, Mohali organized Rhyme Time on 28-02-2017 .Toddlers of Play Group, Pre Nursery, Nursery and K.G. sang English and Hindi rhymes with full gusto .Along with the popular classics like the Old Mac Donald , Boogie Woogie, thoughtful songs on Swachch Bharat and Swachch Pathshala were sung by the tiny tots . A Qawwali on the relation between the students and teachers by the young ones of K.G.A stole the show. There was a loud round of applause when the two year olds of Play Group made their presence on the stage and recited melodiously with well co-ordinated actions.
Mrs Jasminder Kaur , Ex Principal G.P.S. Chandigarh, Ms Harwinder Marwah – Proprietor Cookie’s Jar and Ms. Ritu Mittal Elocution teacher of St. John’s School Chandigarh took up the onerous task of Judgement. The judgement was based on pronunciation , rhythem , melody ,props, entry , exit and body language of the students . The Trophy for the Best Recitation was bagged by the students of Class K.G.A , who sang a Qawwali and enthralled one and all .
The Runner’s Trophy was clinched by the students of Nursery C. They sang the Action song and the Boogie Woogie which made the audience swayed.
Principal, Mrs Tiwana appreciated the effort made by the students and teachers in making this day a success . Director , Sr Karan Singh Brar gave away the Trophies to the winners .Headmistress Ms. Amrit Kalsi presented the vote of Thanks.
