Labour Day was celebrated in St. Soldier School , Mohali. The tiny tots of Class II-D under the guidance of Ms Kuljeet Kaur honoured and thanked the Class IV employees of St. Soldier School Mohali including the nanies, sweepers, gardeners, gatekeeper and caretaker. An awesome assembly was put up by them to enlighten their little friends about the significance of the day and the importance of helpers in our lives. Dressed as gardener, sweeper, peon, cobbler etc. they specified that these helpers are the pillars of success for a nation. They sang mesmerizing songs and ended the activity with a Thank you song and a salute to helpers. The game of Musical Chairs was arranged for the helpers and Kamlesh ji was the winner. Senior students of Class IX-B under the guidance of Ms.Chaity Biswas apprised the audience when and how Labour Day is celebrated all over the world. They also stressed the importance of doing the work themselves.
They were later treated to refreshments and snacks. Principal Anjli Sharma expressed her gratitude towards the Support System of the school and appreciated the effort of the students for the thoughtful presentation. Director Mr. Karandeep Singh Brar congratulated and presented new uniforms to each of the employees.
