Snack ‘n ‘ Sip Closed
In keeping with the tradition, this year too the students of Class-XI (Commerce Stream) closed the Mock Company- Snack ‘n’ Sip on 21st February ,2017 . The main aim of the company was to make the students aware of the various aspects of company formation and business. The students learnt the meaning of competition ,responsibility, team spirit, sincerity, tolerance etc which will further help in developing their personalities. The future entrepreneurs got familiar with the words ‘shares’ and ‘dividends’ and learnt the nuances and intricacies of running a company successfully. As expected this year also Snack n Sip was a profitable venture .
The students presented a brief overview of their effort in providing profit to the share holders . Principal Mrs Vinender Tiwana and Vice Principal Mrs Anjli Sharma congratulated the team for making the company scale new heights of success .

Another Feather in the St Soldier’s Cap
Rachit Dhiman, a student of St Soldier, Mohali bagged bronze Medal in the National Soft Tennis Championship held at Madhya Pradesh on 12th February .Chandigarh Team bagged the third place while Madhya Pradesh Team bagged the first position and the second place was won by Uttar Pradesh Team. He is an example of a perfect balance between studies and sports . He has been participating in a number of Inter School , State and Open National Championships for the last 5-6 years . He has participated in 13 th Senior National Soft Tennis Championship held at Atageta , Ahmedabad. He is the recipient of bronze medal in Punjab University Championship.
Clean Sweep in Table Tennis Tourney
- Ankush from Class IV bagged the first position in Mohali Ranking Table Tennis Championship under 10 category held in the month of June .
- Jaskawal Singh and Harman Saini from class VIII C bagged the second &third Position respectively under 12 category . Both the students have been participating and bagging Prizes in various Open Tournaments .
- These students have also been selected by Punjab Institute of Sports, which is providing Free Coaching to these budding TableTennis players .
- In order to promote sports and sports person St Soldier International School has tied up with the Punjab State Authority and has waived off the Admission charges of more 24 students from the Sports Institute .
Double Delight for St Soldiers, Mohali
The students of St Soldier Mohali bagged the Ist and the 3rd prize at the District level Science Exhibition which was held at Saint Isher Singh Public School Phase 7,Mohali . Siddharth Sandhu & Paramveer Singh both from Class X prepared Models on Rain water harvesting and Water Purification under the aegis of Ms Ravita Chaudhary and Ms Maninder Kaur . Shreya of Class VIII , prepared a model based on Home made Filter . She used Carban and charcoal Filter paper and cellulose . It was waste to wealth .
The Models worked with the help of the Solar power , which is the need of the hour .About 60 models based on resources and health were displayed . It was a proud moment for the school as this is the consecutive third Prize from the District Level Competitions .
Teacher Honoured
Women and Child Welfare Association Mohali honoured Ms. Poonam Saini of St. Soldier School Mohali with a Token of Appreciation. Ms Saini has been working as a PRT in this school since 6 years .She is an energetic and responsible teacher with a versatile personality and loves to take up challenges.Earlier in session 2010-11 she had been honoured with the Teacher of the Year Award.St.Soldier Mohali Boy Tops UC MAS
Hardit Singh, A Class IV Student of St.Soldier Mohali, Topped in the state Level Competition and secured 12th rank in All India u s mas Abacus & mental arithmetic Competional -2012.He has been selected for the 18th international competition to be held at malaysia on december 9,2012.
Paramveer Singh a student of Class IX-C was conferred with the Inspire Award along with Rs 5000 by the District Science and Technology Department to participate in District Level Science Exhibition .Science Olympiad
