Subject: Swachh Bharat – Swachh Vidyalaya Campaign
Dear Parents
As per guideline of the HRD Ministry, the Swachh Vidyalaya Campaign began at St. Soldier’s on 25th September wherein meetings were held and committees formed to schedule activities round the clock upto 15th August , 2015. Many out of these will continue for good.
Some of them are mentioned below:-
Cleaning of classrooms during Break on rotational basis.
Supervision and maintenance of Toilets & Drinking Water.
Dusting of benches & desks (individually)
Washing of handkerchiefs, belt, ties etc.
White washing of Walls/any other area required
Presentations , Role Play, Skits, Songs, Painting Competition etc.
Rallies , Awareness Campaigns and Cleanliness Drives
Campaign to get dump yard removed
Personal hygiene – neat & well dressed students to be shortlisted on a monthly basis.
Supervision and maintenance of Labs/Libraries/Halls etc.
Supervision of Tuck Shop , School Campus & Parking area
Renovation of Flushes in Toilets
Installation of Re-cycling plant and more dustbins on the campus. By the School
Provision of equipment for above mentioned activities . Management
This Campaign will also be an integral part of the Annual Functions, Carnival and other School Activities.
As stake holders of the School you are requested to help and co-operate in the following ways:
Inculcate dignity of labour in your ward and encourage her/him to perform duty assigned in an enthusiastic manner as well as conscious of hygiene.
Ensure that she/he daily carries a napkin , duster and sanitizer packed separately in the bag.
Use the dustbin at home and in Public Places and not throw letter.
Ensure your ward is neatly attired with polished shoes, clean belts, ties and socks.
Help us to get the Garbage Dump removed from the School’s vicinity.
Voluntarily help in awareness programmes or any other activity.
You are also welcome to forward any other valuable suggestion to the Headmistress between 8 a.m – 8.15 on any working day.
