Facebook is the most popular social networking website in the world
but today it has become a bane for the society. In order to curb this
menace Ms. Manjinder Kaur, the School Counsellor conducted a
Counselling Session on how Facebook is spoiling our privacy and
quality of life. She educated the young minds of Classes VI –X that
they are not eligible to use facebook until they attain the age of 18
years and using it before that was an offence. The children were
guided on the detailed repercussions of chatting with strangers on
Facebook.
Principal , Ms Vinender Tiwana also shared a word of wisdom. She
stressed upon getting their accounts deactivated and urged the
students to refrain themselves from the dirty thoughts / illegal
activities as it is a waste of time, energy and ultimately addiction
to it. It is one of the biggest causes of procrastination.
